The story begins with a memorable wedding in May 2023. Matt and Katie got married in a beautiful barn venue in Northampton called Dodmoor House. When planning their wedding, Matt and Katie wanted something unique to keep their family and friends entertained while they sat at the tables waiting for their food. In the past when the couple attended their friend's weddings, on the tables were a mixture of crosswords, word searches and Mr and Mrs puzzles. They wanted to do something similar, but couldn't find anything online that included an escape room element. The idea of a puzzle box was then born to create a mini escape room experience with a twist. The couple placed their wedding favours of jars of honey in the boxes for the guests to enjoy as a reward for completing the puzzles. They got really positive feedback from the custom puzzle with guests thinking the couple brought in an external company to create the puzzles for them. 

 

After much research for similar products, Top Table Escapes was then born to offer something different and unique to the market, creating an innovative guest experience and providing a thrill to any event or party.
